Video Conferencing with
Adobe Acrobat Connect Pro

Starting Spring Semester 2009, Michigan Tech evaluated Adobe's Acrobat Connect Pro. Connect Pro allows you to have real-time, multi-point collaborative meetings online. This technology includes chat, video, VoIP, whiteboards, native PowerPoint presenting and sharing, desktop/application sharing and more. While most webcams, microphones and speakers are compatible with Adobe Connect Pro, the following camera and headset (available for purchase at the campus bookstore) are compatible with both Mac OS X and Windows platforms and offer good quality sound/picture. (For best quality, it is recommended that a headset is used for in office meetings or a noise cancelling microphone for conference rooms.)
